Originating from Central Africa, Juju hats are creative displays of feathers. The Bamileke people began creating Juju hats as symbols of prosperity. The hats were commonly worn by royal dancers during tribal ceremonies
Our unique Juju hats are handmade from Cameroon in Central Africa and expertly crafted by poor women in needs. The Juju hat is a traditional headdress in Central Africa worn by men and women. It is made of feathers from chicken, guinea fowl, or other fowl types and is supported on wooden rods and hand-woven raffia.
With each purchase, you support the hardworking women who have left their homes in the North-West and South-West regions of Cameroon because of the ongoing political crisis in those two regions and set up shop in the West region, providing a better life for their children.

We also plan to involve other abused women in a way to help them get back on their feet while providing them with a mean of gaining some financial independence while learning a new craft that could lead them to an entrepreneurial journey.
